The Dresser Consolidated Type 3700 spring-loaded safety valve is ASME Code Section III certified for Class 1 and Class 2 service. It is designed for use in nuclear main steam sections and is also available with an optional pneumatic actuator for auxiliary control.

Selection Criteria
The Dresser Consolidated Type 3700 spring-loaded safety valve is designed for saturated steam service providing overpressure protection within the main steam sections of a nuclear power plant. Primary pressure and temperature ratings up to 1335 psig at 600oF and secondary pressure and temperature ratings up to 267 psig at 411oF.
